Tway Ma Shiung, a Burmese lathwei fighter and retired fighter, is one of the most respected fighters of his time. His fighting style is known for its agility and resilience. He is a well-known fighter in the sport.

Tway, a lethwei-fighter, was an expert at kicking and using his head to gain an advantage. He was also an expert at breaking the hands of his opponents and had a strong high kick. His style was similar in muaythai to some extent, but his temperament and strength made he one of the strongest fighters in this sport. Additionally, lethwei rules and regulations are more strict than muay-thai. Lethwei's winner is determined using KO (or by making the opponent stop). If the fight ends without a draw it is automatically declared draw.
